Little Wonders ECDC News and Events
Month of March:
On March 24th, we will once again host a spaghetti dinner. The proceeds this year will be used to purchase new strollers for the center. Dessert donations are needed.
We will closed Friday, March 30th, in observance of Good Friday.
As we are awaiting Spring, we will try to get outside for our daily walks. Please bring in an extra sweater to leave at the center just in case it is chilly. Please also check with your child's teacher to make sure his/her bin has extra clothes that fit, as the babies grow very quickly.
We would like to remind you that we are hosting our second annual spaghetti dinner on Saturday, March 24, for 4 - 7 pm. We hope to see all our families there! There will be a dessert sign up posted at your child's classroom if you are interested in donating. Also, if you would like to make any other donations or volunteer your time, please see Miss Megan or Miss Amanda.

Spring is in the air and as March approaches the children prepare for fun and festivities associated with this season of renewal!
We will be practicing activities that encourage and reinforce color recognition through stories, songs and being in nature.
St. Patrick's Day brings colorful creations into the classroom, as our little leprechauns experiment with mixing colors to create the rainbow and create mouth watering recipes to celebrate the holiday. We will be exploring life cycles - linking science with spring as the life-giving season and wrap up the month with tons of Easter traditions in honor of this special day!
Just a reminder, we will be hosting our second annual spaghetti dinner on Saturday, March 24, from 4-7 pm. We hope to see all of our wonderful families come and share in fun and fellowship.
Also, we will closed Friday, March 30th, in observance of Good Friday.
As always, we thank you for you support and treasure each and every one of your Little Wonders Wish List. Dessert donations for the spaghetti dinner are greatly appreciated.
With the days getting longer and Spring time just around the corner, we leap into March with a renewed sense of excitement!
Our main topic will be rainbows. The color spectrum will be explored through many books, art creations, and a few science lessons throughout the month. We will end the month with Easter. We will spend a whole week making crafts, learning the "Bunny Hop," and a hunt to find eggs!
Please don't forget to get your family project in, so we can complete our class rainbow! If you have any questions, please see one of the teachers.

With the nicer weather finally arriving, we will be spending more time outside. It is still very muddy out, so if your child has rubber boots, please send them in.
We will also celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday on March 2nd.
Weather, St. Patrick's Day, Spring, and Easter are the topics we will learn about this month.
Will have a small St. Patrick's Day party if you would like to send a snack to share. We will also have an Easter egg hunt on Thursday, March 29th for the children. We will be closed on Friday, March 30th, in observance of Good Friday.
Thanks Ms. Lorna & Miss Sherry
After School Program:
As we embark on the month of March, we will definitely be getting outside more. Please make certain your child has a jacket or coat.
Schools are closed beginning March 26th for Spring break. They do not return to session until March 9th. We are planning on providing a two week school camp. The cost will be $135.00 per week. It is a first come first serve sign up, so please don't delay. See a teacher for further details. A sign up will be posted on the door to the room
