Month of January:

The center is open January 15th. Please let your teacher know if your child won't be here that day. You are still responsible for payment that day.

Look for information on our new automated, debited billing system beginning in February.

Infant Room:

Happy New Year!

We are beginning to bustle with new walkers in our room, and it's a great joy to watch. Along with this monumental milestone comes lots of wobbling and falls. Rest assured, we will do our very best to keep them safe.

We are still in need of family pictures for our wall. Please remember to do this if you haven't done so already. Our little ones love to look at their family during the day.

We will continue to entice our older babies with making crafts and enjoying lots of sensory play. "They love playing with snow!"

Finally, Miss Paula will continue to be out for a while as she awaits complete knee replacement. Miss Sam, as you know, will be leaving on maternity leave soon. Miss Megan will be taking over as lead teacher until Miss Paula returns. Miss Brenda and Miss Rosanne will remain. We miss Miss Paula and will certainly miss mIss Sam when she leaves us.

Have a safe and happy new year!

Waddler Room:

Happy New Year to all of our wonderful families!

As we go into 2018, we will be embracing the brisk gifts mother nature has brought us. The children will be exploring the world of arctic animals, talking about different animal tracks, and chilly climates.

Our class will also be learning about appropriate winter gear as well as the modes of transportation through silly games, songs and stories.

We will wrap up the month with of week of activities centered around our favorite classic nursery rhymes and last by not least, we will be welcoming our dear friend Mr. Groundhog to predict (fingers crossed) an early spring.

We want to extend our gratitude for all the warmth through the holiday season. Your gifts and wishes are much appreciated. We feel blessed to have your children in our care. Peace & Joy for this New Year!

Miss Liz & Miss Megan

Toddler Room:

Happy New Year and welcome back! We hope everyone had a great break!

Beep! Beep! This month we will be talking about things that go on land, water, and in the air. We will continue working on our ABC books and bingo-dabbing to make shapes. We'll end this month with "Shadows the groundhog." We are beginning to wonder, will he see his shadow or will we have six more weeks of winter?

Our outside day will be every Wednesday, weather permitting. We ask that you bring snow suits, mittens, hats and boots, so we can enjoy the snow. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask one of us.

Miss Amanda and Miss Mindy

Welcome back! We hope you had a blessed Christmas with your family. As we begin the new year, we would like to welcome Xander and Ella to our class.

Our themes for this month are snowmen, transportation, arctic animals, and nursery rhymes. We will also continue working on shapes, colors, numbers and the letters of the alphabet.

If you have not sent in a snap shot of your family, please do so as soon as possible.

Miss Lorna & Miss Sherry

After School Program:

Welcome back to our program after a much needed break. We hope all had a restful and healthy time. As we embark on the cold weather, it is important to remember to send your child in appropriate clothing (coat, gloves, boots, scarves, and hats). Even though they are warm inside, they still have to walk to and from the buses, and it is very cold and windy. If any family is in need of winter apparel, please see Miss Rose. We have kind and generous donations of these items.

Two important reminders - there is absolutely no outside food permitted in the program. We have children with allergies, and these foods could present a potentially harmful risk. We also do not permit toys from home. They get lost and/or broken. Please abide by our center rules.
